About the Arizona Long Drive League
Arizona Long Drive League (AZLD) is bringing a fresh, high-energy twist to the game of golf with a long drive competition series designed for golfers of all skill levels. Whether you're a seasoned power hitter or just looking to test your distance off the tee, AZLD offers an exciting and competitive environment where raw power meets precision and strategy.
Two Ways to Win
-
Long Ball – The single longest drive wins.
-
3Ball – The best three out of five total yardage rewards both accuracy and distance, making it perfect for golfers who don’t hit 400-yard drives but excel in consistency.
Unlike traditional long drive contests that focus solely on power, 3Ball levels the playing field. It’s designed for golfers who may not crush 400-yard drives but can combine distance with precision. By counting the best three shots out of five, consistency and accuracy become just as important as power—giving all players a chance to compete, even against the longest hitters.
Season-Long Competition & the 1000 Yard Club
-
1000 Yard Club – Players who achieve a combined 1,000 yards in 3Ball earn a spot in this exclusive club, cementing their status as elite long drivers.
-
AZLD Leaderboard – Inspired by the FedEx Cup, we track each player’s total yardage throughout the season, awarding those with the highest totals at the end of the year.
A Golf Community Built for Everyone
AZLD welcomes golfers of all ages and skill levels, with divisions for Juniors, Adults, Seniors, and Adaptive players. Our goal is to grow the sport and create an inclusive, electrifying experience where golfers can push their limits and have a blast doing it.
