Can't Drive it 400 Yards?
Perfect. You're exactly who we designed this league for.

Inaugural Season Schedule and Season Championship!

Arizona Long Drive is proud to debut its inaugural season with a special three-event launch series taking place in April, May, and June 2025, followed by the league championships in late June.

On Saturday, June 14th, Arizona Long Drive Amateur League (AZLD) will host its third competition where golfers will compete against others in their respective age divisions, with both male and female divisions available.

There are no membership fees--all of our competitions are free to attend and open to the public! To compete, simply pay $25 for a set of five balls and take your shot. Your longest drive will be measured against others in your division. Want another chance? You can buy back in as many times as you like for $25 per set!

At AZ Long Drive Amateur League, we believe golf is for everyone.

Traditional long drive competitions are one-dimensional: one massive drive can win. That approach excludes a vast majority of golfers—those who may not hit 400-yard bombs but still love competition.

That’s why we developed 3BALL, a format where power and precision matter. The best three of five balls count toward the total score, and you must land at least three in the grid to maximize your chances of winning. This mirrors real golf strategy, making it accessible to a much larger audience.

The Game

Each golfer will automatically be entered into two competitions: Long Ball and 3Ball. In Long Ball, only your longest single drive counts toward your score—the longest drive wins in your division.
In 3Ball, your best three out of five drives will be combined for your total score—the longest total yardage wins in your division. Long Ball is all about power, while 3Ball challenges you to combine power with accuracy!
